Part 1  It all starts here.  Dan takes you through the process from the very beginning, describing the anatomy of the hoof capsule, and the reasoning how the hoof needs to be set up to ensure the fastest development of the sole callous your horse needs to become the performer you want.  This video is shot with cadaver legs to show you the best possible angles to demonstrate the process in a clear, easy to understand way.

Part 2  Live in Norway.  Dan takes Blue, a large footed Norwegian Cold Blood/Norwegian Trotter and demonstrates the very same principles as discussed in Part 1.  Dan trims all four feet and talks about every aspect of this process, from tool handling, body positioning, the hoof stand, the frog and its issues.  This video can aid anyone in knowing what to remove and exactly what not to remove, and why.

Part 3  Live in Africa.  This video is for the advanced trimmer and for the owner who wants to see just what has to be done to help their horse with advanced problems.  Working in Malawi, Africa with the horse named Happy, Dan covers advanced issues involving seedy toe and advanced white line disease that was ‘heel to heel’ on this horse.  You will be able to see that problems as advanced as these can be removed in one single trim.
